Natural Citrine Polished - DR Congo

This polished citrine has a clear, golden yellow reminiscent of yamabuki blossoms. When light passes through it, even the shadow beneath the stone can take on a subtle yellow glow.

The specimen is attributed to Luena, Haut-Lomami, DR Congo. Joun favors citrine from this locality for its natural color rather than the deeper tones commonly produced by heating amethyst.
