This polished labradorite from Madagascar displays a beautiful light-blue labradorescence. Its shifting reflection gives the piece an aurora-like character as the viewing angle changes.
The stone is slightly translucent. When illuminated, the shadowed area beneath the blue flash can reveal a subtle orange tone—a quiet detail that rewards closer observation.
For viewing, Joun recommends placing it beneath a room light at night and looking at the polished face directly. Under this controlled light, the labradorescence becomes especially clear.
