This polished prehnite pebble from Northern Cape, South Africa, has a fresh muscat-grape color and gentle translucency. To Joun, these qualities give it an especially fruit-like appearance.
Its rounded, polished form can be placed directly on a desk or table. It has a quiet presence that invites keeping it nearby and returning to it throughout the day.
Prehnite is a calcium aluminium silicate that is commonly translucent and often occurs in pale green to yellow tones. As this natural object may appear tempting to handle, keep it out of reach of children.
